Founder and Managing Partner
Ryan Melkonian is the founder and managing partner of Melkonian Capital (MCM). Ryan is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment portfolio and chairs the investment committee.
Prior to founding Melkonian Capital, he was a partner at W.P. Stewart, a leading investment advisory firm with $12 billion in assets under management. Earlier in his career Ryan spent 9 years at First Long Island Investors, LLC where he was a principal and senior portfolio manager. Ryan currently serves on the board of directors of Sebela Pharmaceuticals and Beach Bay Holdings. Ryan is actively involved in several community and philanthropic organizations, including, serving as the chairman of the board of Harboring Hearts Foundation, Cornell University ILR School’s Advisory Council and the Melkonian Family Charitable Fund.
Ryan is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A with Honors from Columbia University.
