Chief Financial Officer
David A. Zornitsky is the Chief Financial Officer of Melkonian Capital Management. In this role, David is responsible for the financial reporting of the firm and fund, overseeing the audit and tax preparation, as well as the accounting and administration of the firm’s funds.
Prior to joining the firm, David served as CFO for Jerica Capital Management, LP, where, David was responsible for the financial reporting, legal, and regulatory operations of the hedge fund, as well as overseeing the firm’s relationship with prime brokers, administrators, legal counsel, and IT service providers. Prior to joining Jerica Capital, David served as the CFO for Brownstone Asset Management, where he was responsible for the fund’s accounting, regulatory operations, and management of the firm’s outside service providers.
Previously, David held CFO positions at several business lines within Deutsche Bank, including retirement services and investment management, among others. David began his career at KPMG as an auditor.
David received his B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany and his MBA in Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business. David is a Certified Public Accountant.
